Accountant

We are looking for a detail-oriented and trustworthy Accountant to manage the financial records and accounting operations of our jewellery store. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining accounts, handling GST compliance, monitoring inventory records, and ensuring accurate financial reporting.

• Key Responsibilities
• Maintain daily accounting records for sales, purchases, receipts, and payments.
• Record and reconcile cash, bank, and ledger transactions.
• Prepare and maintain GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance records.
• Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Reconcile inventory and stock records with accounting books.
• Prepare monthly financial reports, Profit & Loss statements, and Balance Sheets.
• Verify invoices, bills, and payment vouchers.
• Assist with payroll processing and employee reimbursements.
• Support internal and external audits by maintaining proper documentation.
• Generate reports using accounting software such as Tally Prime or Busy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) or a related field.
• 1–3 years of accounting experience (Jewellery industry experience preferred).
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
• Working knowledge of GST, TDS, and taxation requirements.
• Proficiency in Tally Prime, Busy, and MS Excel.
