Assistant Sales Manager

Key Responsibilities: • Assist in developing and implementing sales strategies to achieve revenue targets in the travel and events sector. • Identify and acquire new corporate and individual clients for travel packages, MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions), and event management services. • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business and referrals. • Work closely with the marketing and operations teams to create tailored travel and event solutions. • Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and stay updated on industry trends. • Prepare and present proposals, pricing, and service agreements to potential clients. • Negotiate contracts and close sales deals effectively. • Assist in managing a sales team, providing guidance, training, and support as needed. • Track and report sales performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement. Key Skills & Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. • 3-5 years of experience in sales, preferably in the travel and events industry. • Strong understanding of B2B & B2C sales in travel and event management. • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. • Goal-oriented with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work in a fast-paced environment. • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and CRM software.
