Job Description: The Business Development Manager (BDM) will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building client relationships, and driving revenue growth. This role requires a proactive, results-driven individual with strong industry knowledge and networking abilities to expand URCPL’s market presence.

Job Responsibilities:

• Identify and develop new business opportunities in the transport and logistics sector.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.

• Develop sales strategies to achieve company revenue targets.

• Conduct market research to analyze industry trends, competitors, and customer needs.

• Prepare and present business proposals, service solutions, and pricing strategies.

• Collaborate with the operations team to ensure smooth service execution and client satisfaction.

• Negotiate contracts, rates, and payment terms with clients.

• Maintain accurate records of sales activities, leads, and market insights.

• Attend networking events, industry conferences, and client meetings.

Key Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Logistics, or a related field.

• 5-7 years of experience in business development, preferably in the trucking, logistics, or transportation industry.

• A strong network of contacts within the logistics and transportation sector is a plus.

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

• Proven ability to meet sales targets and drive revenue growth.

• Proficient in MS Office Suite and ERP software.

• Willingness to travel as required.

• Leadership quality

• Ability to get work done from colleagues

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (Hindi/Bengali).

Job Type: Full-time

Job Location: Head Office, Kolkata

Salary: ₹ 40,000- ₹ 50,000 per month
