Job Responsibilities – Die, Tool & Fixture Design Engineer

- Design and develop dies, tools, fixtures, and manufacturing aids as per production and job requirements.

- Work on both 2D and 3D design platforms depending on project requirements.

- Analyze component drawings and determine the correct manufacturing process, machining sequence, and operational feasibility.

- Ensure designs are practical, manufacturable, and suitable for shop-floor implementation.

- Responsible for complete execution support from design stage to final manufacturing and operational demonstration.

- Coordinate with machine operators and fabrication/machining teams to ensure proper implementation of designed tools and fixtures.

- Generate detailed manufacturing drawings, assembly drawings, BOMs, tolerances, and process-related documentation.

- Candidate must independently identify manufacturing challenges and implement practical engineering solutions without external guidance.

- Perform design modifications and troubleshooting during manufacturing or trial stages when required.

- Ensure designed tooling meets required accuracy, rigidity, safety, and production efficiency standards.

- Candidate should be fully self-sufficient and capable of handling projects independently from concept to final execution.

- No formal training or continuous technical support will be provided; prior hands-on industrial experience is mandatory.

- All design-related documentation, revision records, and operational instructions must be prepared and maintained by the candidate.

- Drawings prepared by the candidate will be directly issued to machine operators and production teams; therefore accuracy and clarity are critical.

- Responsible for validating operations practically on the shop floor after manufacturing completion.

- Candidate should possess strong problem-solving ability, practical manufacturing knowledge, and understanding of machining/fabrication processes.
