E-Commerce Executive – Job Role & Responsibilities

Position: E-Commerce Executive

Job Summary: An E-Commerce Executive is responsible for managing and growing online sales through e-commerce platforms, marketplaces, and company websites. The role includes product listing, order management, customer support, digital promotions, and sales performance monitoring.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage product listings on e-commerce platforms (Amazon, Flipkart, IndiaMART, website, etc.).

Upload and update product details, images, pricing, and inventory.

Monitor and process online orders.

Coordinate with logistics and warehouse teams for timely dispatch.

Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns.

Track sales performance and prepare daily/weekly reports.

Optimize product listings for better visibility and conversions.

Manage online promotions, discounts, and marketing campaigns.

Monitor competitor activities and market trends.

Ensure accurate stock management and inventory updates.

Required Skills:

Knowledge of e-commerce platforms and online marketplaces.

Basic understanding of digital marketing and SEO.

Good communication and customer service skills.

Proficiency in MS Excel and reporting tools.

Attention to detail and data management skills.

Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple tasks.

Qualification:

Graduate in any discipline (BBA, B.Com, MBA preferred).

1–3 years of experience in e-commerce operations.

Experience with Amazon, Flipkart, Meesho, IndiaMART, or Shopify is an advantage.

Customer satisfaction rating.

Return and cancellation rate.

Inventory accuracy.

Marketplace ranking and visibility.

Industry Preference (Furniture & Modular Furniture): Experience in selling furniture, office furniture, modular kitchen, wardrobe, and home décor products through online marketplaces will be preferred.
