Position
GIS Land Plan Engineer
Qualification
- B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering, Geomatics, Surveying, GIS, or a related field.
Experience
- Minimum 2 to 5 years of experience in GIS mapping, land plan preparation, or railway/infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare land plans, GIS maps, and engineering drawings using AutoCAD and GIS software.
- Analyse survey data, land records, and project drawings.
- Coordinate with clients, survey teams, and government authorities.
- Ensure drawings comply with project specifications and applicable standards.
- Maintain GIS databases and project documentation.
- Conduct site visits and field verification as required.
- Support land acquisition and project execution activities.
- Deliver assigned work within the specified timelines while maintaining quality standards.
Skills Required
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and GIS software (ArcGIS/QGIS).
- Knowledge of land surveying, mapping, and land records.
- Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel for official site visits.
