Job SummaryWe are hiring Packaging Staff / Packaging Executive for our cosmetic, herbal, and organic beauty products manufacturing unit located in Baguiati, Kolkata.

The selected candidate will be responsible for product filling, packing, labeling, sealing, quality checking, stock handling, and dispatch-ready packing of cosmetic and personal care products such as creams, shampoos, oils, soaps, face wash, scrubs, gels, lotions, toners, serums, conditioners, body wash, and other herbal beauty products.

The candidate should be active, disciplined, honest, and able to work properly under production targets.

Key Responsibilities1. Product Filling & PackingThe candidate will be responsible for filling products into proper packaging materials such as jars, bottles, pouches, containers, and cartons as per required quantity, weight, and order instructions.

Work includes:

• Filling cream, gel, lotion, shampoo, oil, scrub, face wash, toner, serum, soap, and other cosmetic products.
• Checking product weight or quantity before final packing.
• Proper capping, sealing, shrink wrapping, and leak-proof packing.
• Keeping products clean and properly arranged during packing.
• Avoiding product wastage during filling and packing.

2. Labeling & Batch CodingThe candidate must apply product labels neatly and correctly.

Work includes:

• Applying front and back labels properly.
• Checking label alignment and clean finishing.
• Ensuring no bubbles, wrinkles, or damaged labels.
• Pasting MRP stickers, batch number, manufacturing date, expiry date, and other stickers if required.
• Matching the correct label with the correct product and variant.

3. Quality CheckingThe candidate must check product and packaging quality before final packing.

Work includes:

• Checking jar, bottle, cap, pump, spray, container, and carton quality.
• Checking leakage, damage, loose cap, wrong cap, broken bottle, dirty container, or defective packaging.
• Ensuring correct product, correct color, correct fragrance, correct size, and correct packing material.
• Removing damaged or defective products from packing.
• Reporting quality problems to the supervisor.

4. Packing Slip & Order MatchingThe candidate will match products according to the order sheet or packing slip.

Work includes:

• Checking product name, quantity, size, and variant.
• Matching order details before carton packing.
• Avoiding wrong product packing and quantity mistakes.
• Keeping packed orders arranged properly for dispatch.

5. Dispatch-Ready PackingThe candidate will prepare final cartons for dispatch.

Work includes:

• Strong carton packing with bubble wrap, partition, tape, and protective material.
• Properly arranging products inside cartons to avoid damage.
• Marking cartons with dispatch details, fragile marking, this-side-up marking, or other required notes.
• Keeping dispatch-ready orders in the correct area.
• Helping in loading/unloading when required.

6. Stock & Packaging Material HandlingThe candidate will help maintain packaging material stock.

Work includes:

• Handling jars, bottles, caps, labels, cartons, stickers, tapes, bubble wrap, and other packing materials.
• Keeping packaging materials clean and properly arranged.
• Informing the supervisor when stock is low.
• Reporting damaged or defective packaging material.
• Avoiding unnecessary wastage of packing materials.

7. Workplace Hygiene & SafetyThe candidate must maintain cleanliness and basic hygiene in the packaging area.

Work includes:

• Keeping packaging table, tools, and work area clean.
• Following basic hygiene rules during product handling.
• Using gloves, mask, cap, or apron when required.
• Keeping products protected from dust, dirt, and contamination.
• Following company safety instructions.
• Skills & RequirementsBasic understanding of cosmetic, herbal, pharma, or FMCG packaging work.
• Ability to do fast and accurate packing.
• Good eyesight for label checking and quality checking.
• Basic counting and order matching ability.
• Ability to follow supervisor instructions.
• Teamwork, discipline, honesty, and punctuality.
• Experience in cosmetic, pharma, FMCG, or personal care packing preferred.
• Freshers can also apply.
• Candidate should be physically active and able to stand/work during production hours.
• Preferred CandidateCandidate from Baguiati, Dum Dum, Lake Town, Rajarhat, Keshtopur, Salt Lake, Kolkata, or nearby areas preferred.
• Should be able to work under production targets.
• Should be responsible, honest, and serious about work.
• Female and male candidates both can apply.
• Experience in beauty product packing will be an advantage.

SalarySalary: ₹9,000 per month

Salary growth may depend on work performance, discipline, attendance, speed, and responsibility.
