Job Description
Job Title: Digital Marketing Strategist
Location: Remote
Department: Digital Marketing
Reports To: Marketing Manager / Founder
Job Summary
We are seeking a results-driven and creative Digital Marketing Strategist who can manage paid advertising campaigns, drive lead generation, and create engaging content across social media and YouTube. This role blends analytical digital marketing with creative storytelling to increase brand visibility, generate qualified leads, and improve conversion rates.
Key Responsibilities
1. Paid Advertising (Performance Marketing)
- Plan, execute, and optimize paid campaigns on Meta (Facebook & Instagram) and Google Ads.
- Manage campaign budgets, bidding strategies, and audience targeting
- Conduct A/B testing on creatives, ad copies, and landing pages
- Track and optimize KPIs such as CPC, CTR, CPA, CPL, ROAS, and conversions
- Stay updated with platform trends, algorithm changes, and ad policies
2. Lead Generation & Funnel Management
- Develop and execute lead generation strategies across paid and organic channels
- Create and optimize landing pages and lead forms for higher conversion rates
- Manage lead funnels from awareness to conversion
- Coordinate with sales teams to ensure lead quality and follow-ups
- Track Cost per Lead (CPL), lead quality, and conversion rates
- Implement retargeting and re-marketing strategies
3. Content Creation & Social Media Management
- Create engaging content including reels, videos, static posts, and stories for Instagram and Facebook
- Write compelling captions, hooks, and ad creatives aligned with brand voice
- Plan and maintain a content calendar for consistent posting
- Monitor trends and create relevant, high-performing content
- Build and manage community engagement (comments, DMs, etc.)
4. YouTube Content Creation & Management
- Plan, create, and publish video content for YouTube (short-form and long-form)
- Develop content ideas, scripts, and storyboards
- Optimize videos for SEO (titles, tags, descriptions, thumbnails)
- Monitor YouTube analytics (watch time, CTR, retention, subscribers)
- Repurpose YouTube content for other platforms (reels, shorts, etc.)
5. Creative Strategy & Campaign Planning
- Develop integrated marketing campaigns combining paid ads, organic content, and video marketing
- Ideate and execute high-performing creatives for ads and social media
- Align content and campaign strategies with business goals and target audience
- Continuously test and optimize creative approaches
6. Analytics & Reporting
- Track performance using tools like Google Analytics, Meta Ads Manager, and YouTube Analytics
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports with actionable insights
- Analyze user behavior, campaign performance, and content effectiveness
- Optimize campaigns and strategies based on data
7. Collaboration & Coordination
- Work closely with designers, video editors, and marketing team members
- Coordinate with sales teams for lead conversion and feedback
- Ensure timely execution of campaigns and content schedules
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field
- 1–4 years of experience in digital marketing, paid ads, and content creation
- Hands-on experience with Meta Ads and Google Ads
- Strong understanding of lead generation funnels and conversion optimization
- Experience managing Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube platforms
- Basic video editing and content creation skills
- Strong analytical and creative thinking abilities
Preferred Skills
- Experience with tools like Canva, CapCut, Premiere Pro, or similar
- Knowledge of SEO, YouTube SEO, and content marketing strategies
- Familiarity with CRM tools and marketing automation
- Understanding of influencer and creator-led marketing
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Cost per Lead (CPL) and lead quality
- Return on Ad Spend (ROAS)
- Conversion rate and sales pipeline contribution
- Engagement rate and follower growth
- YouTube metrics (watch time, subscribers, retention rate)
