Job Description
- Identify and evaluate suppliers based on quality, price, delivery, and service.
- Obtain quotations and compare rates from multiple vendors.
- Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
- Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (POs).
- Ensure timely procurement of materials to avoid production delays.
- Follow up with suppliers regarding order status and deliveries.
- Vendor ManagementDevelop and maintain relationships with existing and new suppliers.
- Conduct supplier performance evaluations.
- Resolve supplier-related issues regarding quality, quantity, and delivery.
- Maintain updated supplier database and records.
- Inventory CoordinationCoordinate with stores and production departments regarding material requirements.
- Monitor stock levels and initiate purchases as per reorder levels.
