Residential Caretaker

Job Summary

We are looking for a reliable and responsible Residential Care Taker to manage the day-to-day upkeep and safety of our residential property. The role includes overall property management, supervision of repair and maintenance work, operation of water pumps and related utilities, and coordination with vendors and service providers.

Key Responsibilities

• Look after the entire residential property, ensuring it is clean, safe, and well-maintained at all times.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify repair, leakage, or maintenance issues and report them promptly to the owner/manager.
• Coordinate and supervise all repair and maintenance work (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, etc.) carried out by internal staff or external vendors.
• Operate and monitor water pumps, overhead and underground tanks, and ensure regular water supply; report any pump or motor issues immediately.
• Monitor building/common area lighting, basic electrical fittings, and ensure timely replacement/repair.
• Maintain basic records of maintenance work, complaints, and vendor visits (logbook/WhatsApp updates as directed).
• Oversee cleanliness of common areas, staircase, terrace, parking, and surroundings; coordinate with housekeeping staff where applicable.
• Keep a watch on entry/exit of visitors, staff, and service providers, ensuring property safety and security.
• Be available on-call for basic emergencies related to water, electricity, or property issues.
• Candidate should be comfortable with early morning/late evening work in case of urgent maintenance issues.
• Any other property-related tasks assigned by the owner/management.

Eligibility & Qualifications

• Minimum education: Higher Secondary (10+2) passed.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a caretaker / property caretaker / building supervisor / similar role preferred.
• Age: 25-40 YEARS
