Job Description
We are looking for a confident, persuasive, and result-oriented Tele Sales Executive for our book publishing house. The candidate will be responsible for calling teachers, schools, coaching institutes, and educational professionals to generate leads, collect useful data, promote our publications, and convert prospects into sales.
- Key Responsibilities:Make outbound calls to teachers, schools, coaching centres, colleges, and educational institutions.
- Introduce the company, publications, and available books professionally.
- Collect and maintain teacher and institute database, including:
- Teacher Name
- Institute / School / Coaching Name
- Mobile Number / Contact Details
- Address / Location
- Subjects Taught
- Classes / Standards Handled
- Streams (Science / Commerce / Arts etc.)
- Number of Students
- Board / Curriculum followed
- Existing books being used
- Other relevant academic details
- Build strong relationships with teachers and academic decision-makers.
- Request references of other teachers, coordinators, principals, or subject faculty.
- Collect contact details of referred teachers and generate new leads.
- Explain features, benefits, syllabus relevance, and advantages of our books.
- Promote sample copies and arrange dispatch of sample books.
- Follow up after sample delivery for feedback and adoption opportunities.
- Convince teachers to recommend, prescribe, or adopt our books.
- Convert leads into confirmed sales and institutional orders.
- Handle customer objections professionally and provide solutions.
- Maintain daily call reports, lead status, follow-up schedule, and sales pipeline.
- Update CRM / Excel records of calls, responses, and conversions.
- Coordinate with dispatch, sales, accounts, and marketing teams.
- Assist in launching new titles, editions, and promotional campaigns.
- Support exhibitions, academic events, seminars, and teacher outreach drives.
- Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly targets for calls, leads, and conversions.
- Perform other tele-sales and business development tasks assigned by management.
