As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves designing, building, and configuring applications tailored to fulfill specific business process needs and application requirements. This role requires a thoughtful approach to understanding organizational workflows and translating them into effective software solutions. The position demands continuous collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure that the applications developed align with evolving business objectives and provide seamless user experiences. The engineer actively participates in refining application functionalities and adapting configurations to optimize performance and usability throughout the development lifecycle.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to identify and implement process improvements within the team to enhance productivity and quality.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentoring to support the growth and development of junior team members.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Workday Core HCM.
- Strong understanding of Workday Core HCM modules and their integration capabilities.
- Experience in designing and configuring Workday applications to meet complex business requirements.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Workday Core HCM implementations.
- Familiarity with Workday reporting and analytics tools to support data-driven decision making.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering scalable and maintainable solutions.
