Accountant

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain books of accounts and ensure accurate recording of all financial transactions.
• Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and ledger scrutiny.
• Prepare GST returns, TDS returns, and assist in statutory compliance activities.
• Process vendor payments and customer receipts.
• Prepare monthly MIS reports, cash flow statements, and financial summaries for management.
• Coordinate with auditors, consultants, banks, and government authorities as required.
• Manage inventory accounting and support reconciliation of raw materials and finished goods.
• Monitor outstanding receivables and follow up for collections.
• Assist in the preparation of annual financial statements and audits.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) or related field.
• 3–4 years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing company.
• Good knowledge of GST, TDS, accounting principles, and statutory compliances.
• Proficiency in Tally ERP, MS Excel, and accounting software.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
