Assistant Merchandiser

JOB DESCRIPTION – ASSISTANT MERCHANDISER (PRODUCTION)

Location: C-87B, Sector 8, Noida

We are looking for a Assistant Merchandiser to support the production and merchandising activities for Women's and Kids' Ethnic Wear. The candidate will coordinate with vendors, tailors, embroiderers, fabric suppliers, and the internal production team to ensure timely execution of orders.

• Key ResponsibilitiesProduction CoordinationFollow up with job workers, vendors, and production units.
• Track daily production status and ensure timely completion of orders.
• Coordinate cutting, stitching, embroidery, finishing, and packing activities.
• Maintain production schedules and delivery timelines.
• Vendor ManagementCommunicate with fabric suppliers, dyeing units, printers, embroiderers, and other vendors.
• Monitor material receipts and dispatches.
• Ensure timely availability of fabrics, trims, and accessories.
• Order Tracking & DocumentationPrepare and maintain production sheets and order status reports.
• Update merchandising records and production trackers.
• Maintain sample, approval, and dispatch records.
• Quality Control SupportAssist in checking garments during production stages.
• Coordinate with quality teams for inspections and corrections.
• Ensure garments meet brand quality standards.
• Inventory & Dispatch CoordinationTrack fabric and accessory consumption.
• Coordinate packing and dispatch of finished goods.
• Support stock and inventory management activities.
• Desired SkillsGood communication and follow-up skills.
• Basic knowledge of garment production processes.
• Familiarity with ethnic wear manufacturing preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and basic computer operations.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
• Strong organizational and coordination skills.
• QualificationGraduate / Diploma in Fashion Designing, Fashion Technology, Apparel Production, Merchandising, or related field.
• Freshers with relevant internships may apply.
• Experienced candidates will be preferred.

Salary₹16,000 – ₹18,000 per month (based on experience and skills)

Working Hours9:30 AM – 6:30 PM

Working DaysMonday to Saturday
