ob Title: Branch Operations Manager – Spare Parts Distribution
Job Summary:
The Branch Operations Manager is responsible for managing end-to-end branch operations related to spare parts distribution, including inventory management, warehouse operations, order fulfillment, logistics coordination, customer service, and branch profitability. The role ensures timely availability of parts, efficient dispatch operations, and high service levels for dealers, distributors, service centers, and end customers.
- Key ResponsibilitiesBranch Operations ManagementOversee daily branch operations for spare parts storage, handling, and distribution.
- Ensure smooth receipt, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch of spare parts.
- Maintain operational efficiency and minimize turnaround time for order fulfillment.
- Inventory ManagementMonitor stock levels and ensure availability of fast-moving and critical spare parts.
- Reduce stock-outs, excess inventory, dead stock, and obsolete inventory.
- Conduct regular inventory audits, cycle counts, and reconciliation.
- Ensure proper inventory planning based on demand forecasts.
- Warehouse & LogisticsManage warehouse layout and optimize storage space utilization.
- Coordinate transportation and delivery schedules with logistics partners.
- Ensure timely deliveries to dealers, distributors, workshops, and customers.
- Monitor reverse logistics for returns and damaged goods.
- Sales & Customer Support CoordinationWork closely with sales teams to support parts availability.
- Handle escalations related to delayed deliveries, incorrect shipments, or stock shortages.
- Maintain strong relationships with dealers/service centers/customers.
- Team ManagementLead warehouse staff, delivery teams, and branch support staff.
- Conduct training and performance evaluations.
- Ensure manpower planning and productivity improvement.
- Compliance & Process ControlEnsure compliance with company SOPs, safety guidelines, and audit requirements.
- Maintain documentation for inventory movement, dispatch records, and invoicing.
- Implement operational improvements to reduce errors and costs.
- Financial ManagementMonitor branch operational expenses.
- Control logistics costs, shrinkage, and operational losses.
- Support branch profitability and revenue goals.
