Heavy Driver

Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled and responsible Heavy Motor Vehicle (HMV) Driver to operate company vehicles safely and efficiently. The candidate will be responsible for transporting goods, equipment, or materials while ensuring compliance with traffic regulations and company policies.

• Key ResponsibilitiesSafely operate heavy vehicles such as trucks, trailers, tankers, or commercial vehicles.
• Transport goods/materials to designated locations within stipulated timelines.
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections (brakes, tyres, lights, fuel, oil, etc.).
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and ensure proper upkeep.
• Follow all traffic rules, safety guidelines, and company policies.
• Maintain trip sheets, logbooks, fuel records, and delivery documents.
• Report accidents, breakdowns, or mechanical issues immediately.
• Assist in loading and unloading materials when required.
• Ensure proper securing of cargo to prevent damage during transit.
• Eligibility CriteriaValid Heavy Motor Vehicle (HMV) Driving License.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience driving heavy commercial vehicles.
• Good knowledge of Lucknow and nearby routes.
• Basic understanding of vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Physically fit and willing to travel as required.
• Ability to maintain records and communicate effectively.
• Preferred SkillsDefensive driving and road safety awareness.
• Time management and route planning.
• Ability to handle emergency situations calmly.
• Punctual, disciplined, and reliable.
