Site Civil Engineer

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Civil Engineer to join our site team and support day-to-day construction activities. The role involves supervising and executing on-site civil works, ensuring adherence to technical drawings, quality standards, and safety norms. The candidate should have a practical understanding of construction methods, material management, and project coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily construction activities at the site and ensure that work is carried out in accordance with approved drawings and specifications.

• Monitor site progress, manpower deployment, and work quality.

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.

• Assist in material quantity estimation, requisition, and verification upon delivery.

• Ensure proper usage of materials and prevent wastage.

• Check formwork, reinforcement, concrete works, and finishing for quality compliance.

• Maintain safety standards and ensure site cleanliness and order.

• Report site issues, delays, and technical problems to the project engineer or manager.

• Support documentation and record-keeping for inspections and approvals.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized institute.

• 1–3 years of experience in site execution, supervision, or construction (freshers with good technical skills may apply).

• Strong understanding of civil drawings, materials, and construction practices.

• Basic knowledge of MS Office, and surveying instruments.

• Good communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to handle site challenges and work under limited supervision.

• Familiarity with safety and quality control standards.

Work Environment:

• Full-time, site-based role (field job).

• Requires extended hours depending on project timelines.
