About the Role

We are launching our first faceless YouTube channel producing high-quality educational and informational content. We are looking for a skilled, proactive, and self-driven Video Editor who can independently create compelling videos using stock footage, AI-generated clips, screen recordings, images, and AI voiceovers, without any on-camera presence.

This is a full-time job, not a freelance assignment. We need someone who is reliable, available during shift hours, and treats this role with the same commitment and ownership as any professional job.

• Key ResponsibilitiesEdit fully faceless videos using stock footage, AI-generated video clips, screen recordings, and relevant images
• Source and curate the right visuals for each scene — every scene must be contextually relevant, not generic filler
• Generate high-quality AI video clips and images tailored to each scene using relevant AI tools
• Sync AI-generated voiceovers precisely with visuals for natural, professional delivery
• Design eye-catching, click-worthy thumbnails that align with channel branding and improve CTR
• Maintain consistent pacing, tone, and storytelling throughout each video
• Add appropriate background music, sound effects, transitions, and text overlays
• Perform basic colour grading and audio correction/enhancement
• Manage project files, assets, and exports in an organised manner
• Contribute ideas for improving video quality, retention, and overall watch time
• Required Skills and ExperienceProven hands-on experience editing faceless YouTube videos (stock footage + VO style)
• Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or CapCut Pro
• Hands-on experience with AI video generation tools such as Grok, Google Veo 3, Kling, Higgsfield, or similar platforms
• Hands-on experience with AI image generation tools such as MidJourney, Adobe Firefly, DALL-E, or similar
• Hands-on experience with AI voiceover tools such as ElevenLabs, or similar platforms for generating and editing natural-sounding voice narrations
• Expertise in sourcing high-quality visuals from stock platforms like Pexels, Storyblocks, Envato, Pixabay, Artgrid, etc.
• Strong thumbnail design skills using tools like Photoshop, Canva Pro, or similar
• Good sense of storytelling, pacing, and audience retention editing
• Ability to understand a script and independently find or create relevant visuals scene by scene
• Strong English comprehension — scripts and briefs will be in English; you must be able to understand and act on them independently without hand-holding
• Good to Have (Added Advantage)Knowledge of YouTube SEO — titles, descriptions, tags, chapters, and metadata optimisation
• Understanding of thumbnail A/B testing, CTR optimisation, and analytics
• Prior experience contributing to the growth of a YouTube channel
• Familiarity with tools like TubeBuddy, VidIQ, or similar
• Basic understanding of retention graphs and editing to improve average view duration
• Work Setup RequirementsMust have a personal computer or laptop (minimum mid-range specs capable of video editing and running AI tools)
• Good broadband/high-speed internet connection is mandatory
• A quiet, dedicated workspace free from background noise and interruptions during shift hours
• Must be available and responsive during the designated day shift window

Selection Process

1. Portfolio Submission — Share your portfolio/showreel before reaching out. Applications without a portfolio will not be considered.
2. Sample Editing Test — Shortlisted candidates will be given a sample editing task to assess skill and judgment.

• Submission window: 24 hours from the time of assignment OR by 20th April, whichever comes first
• If you are not ready and willing to take this test, please do not apply.

1. Final Round — Candidates who clear the test will be called for the final selection round.

Important Notes — Please Read Before Applying

• Do not ask how many videos are to be edited per week or per month. This is a salaried job, not a freelance project. You will be expected to work your shift and deliver as required, just like any other job.
• English communication is non-negotiable. You don't need to be a native speaker, but you must understand English briefs, scripts, and instructions comfortably and act on them independently.
• Be smart. Be proactive. If something is not clear, research it before asking. We value people who find solutions, not those who wait for instructions at every step.
• We are looking for go-getters — people who take ownership, stay curious, and constantly look to improve output quality.
