Counter Sales Executive

Key Responsibilities

• Attend walk-in customers, garment manufacturers, and buyers professionally.
• Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable fabrics based on quality, GSM, weave, composition, color, and end use.
• Generate sales by converting customer inquiries into orders.
• Prepare quotations and coordinate with the billing team for invoice generation.
• Coordinate with the warehouse/dispatch team to ensure timely delivery of orders.
• Maintain proper records of customer inquiries, orders, and follow-ups.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with manufacturers and repeat customers.
• Assist customers with shade selection, fabric samples, and product comparisons.
• Ensure the showroom and fabric display racks remain clean, organized, and updated.
• Cross-sell and upsell premium fabric collections whenever applicable.
• Handle customer complaints professionally and coordinate with the concerned departments for resolution.
• Stay updated on new fabric arrivals, pricing, and market trends.
• Achieve monthly sales and collection targets assigned by the management.
• Coordinate with the merchandising and accounts teams for order execution and payment follow-ups.
