Job SummaryResponsible for developing and optimizing wire harness manufacturing processes, managing new product sampling, validating products through testing, ensuring process quality, and supporting smooth production from development to mass manufacturing.

• Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and standardize wire harness manufacturing processes and work instructions.
• Plan, manufacture, and coordinate new product samples as per customer requirements.
• Conduct product validation and testing to ensure compliance with customer and internal specifications.
• Prepare process documents, SOPs, control plans, process flow charts, and work instructions.
• Support APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, and process validation activities.
• Coordinate with Design, Quality, Production, PPC, and Purchase teams for new product development and production readiness.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity, quality, and cost efficiency.
• Troubleshoot manufacturing and process-related issues and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, customer requirements, and safety procedures.
• Train production operators on new processes and quality requirements.
• RequirementsBachelor's Degree/Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or Production Engineering.
• 3–6 years of experience in wire harness manufacturing or automotive component industry.
• Strong knowledge of wire harness assembly processes, crimping, connector assembly, routing, testing, and process validation.
• Familiarity with APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, Control Plan, 8D, and other automotive quality tools.
• Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.
• Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)On-time sample development and approval.
• First-pass sample approval rate.
• Process capability and production efficiency.
• Reduction in process defects and rework.
• Successful PPAP submissions and customer approvals.
• Continuous improvement and cost reduction initiatives.
