Job Description
Location: Mangalore, Karnataka Organization: Cyborg Fitness Club
Role Summary As the first point of contact, the Front Desk Executive serves as the face of the club. This role requires a high-energy professional who can seamlessly manage member relations, administrative tasks, and sales inquiries while maintaining an atmosphere of health and wellness. The ideal candidate balances exceptional hospitality with the organizational skills necessary to keep a high-traffic fitness facility running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
1. Member Experience & Hospitality
- Provide a warm, professional welcome to all members and guests upon arrival.
- Manage the check-in process efficiently, ensuring all member credentials are valid.
- Address member queries, feedback, and concerns with a solution-oriented mindset.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting reception area at all times.
2. Sales & Lead Management
- Conduct professional tours of the facility for prospective members.
- Explain membership tiers, personal training packages, and ongoing promotions.
- Convert walk-in inquiries and phone calls into scheduled trials or active memberships.
- Assist the management team in follow-up calls and lead generation activities.
3. Administrative & Operational Support
- Handle the club’s multi-line phone system and official email correspondence.
- Manage billing, POS transactions, and daily cash/digital payment reconciliation.
- Coordinate scheduling for personal training sessions and group fitness classes.
- Monitor inventory for retail items (supplements, apparel) and front-desk supplies.
Candidate Requirements
Education: Graduate in any discipline (Hospitality, Communication, or Management preferred).
Experience: 0–3 years of experience in front-of-house roles, ideally within the fitness, hospitality, or luxury retail sectors.
Language Skills: Proficiency in English, Kannada, and Tulu is highly preferred to effectively serve the local Mangalore community.
Technical Skills: Familiarity with CRM software and basic Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
Competencies & TraitsInterpersonal Prowess: Ability to build rapport quickly with diverse age groups.
Professional Presentation: A well-groomed appearance that aligns with a health-conscious brand.
Multitasking: Calmly managing peak-hour rushes (early mornings and evenings).
Reliability: Punctuality and a strong sense of ownership over the reception desk.
