Assistant Production Manager

We are looking for an experienced Production Manager to oversee and manage textile manufacturing operations. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth production processes, maintaining quality standards, achieving production targets, minimizing downtime, optimizing manpower, and improving overall plant efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, organize, and monitor daily production activities to meet production targets.

Ensure smooth functioning of textile manufacturing processes (spinning, weaving, dyeing, finishing, knitting, or as applicable).

Monitor machine performance, production output, and efficiency.

Coordinate with maintenance, quality, stores, and dispatch teams for uninterrupted production.

Maintain production schedules and ensure timely delivery of orders.

Reduce machine downtime and production losses through proper planning.

Monitor raw material consumption and minimize wastage.

Ensure quality standards are maintained throughout the production process.

Analyze production reports, efficiency, rejection, and downtime data.

Implement process improvements to increase productivity and reduce costs.

Manage and supervise production staff, operators, and supervisors.

Ensure workplace safety, discipline, and compliance with company policies.

Coordinate with management for production planning and resource allocation.

Maintain production records, MIS reports, and documentation.

Required Skills:

Knowledge of production KPIs, efficiency, and quality control.

Familiarity with ERP/MIS systems is preferred.
