Job Description
Job Summary
Jain Cord Industries is seeking a skilled and proactive Process Engineer to optimize manufacturing processes, improve production efficiency, reduce downtime, and ensure smooth plant operations. The candidate will be responsible for analyzing production processes, identifying bottlenecks, implementing improvements, and supporting automation and quality initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and improve manufacturing processes to increase productivity and efficiency.
- Analyze machine performance, production losses, rejection, and downtime.
- Identify root causes of process issues and implement corrective actions.
- Develop and maintain SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) for production activities.
- Work closely with production, maintenance, quality, and automation teams for smooth operations.
- Monitor machine runtime, idle time, cycle time, and process efficiency.
- Implement process improvement initiatives to reduce wastage and optimize resources.
- Support automation systems, PLC-based operations, and production monitoring systems.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards, safety guidelines, and operational procedures.
- Prepare reports related to process performance, productivity, and improvement activities.
- Conduct process audits and suggest improvements for continuous operational excellence.
