Job Description
A telesales executive sells products, services, or schedules client visits directly over the telephone. Their primary goal is to engage prospective or existing customers, pitch offers, handle objections, and convert leads into direct sales or revenue.
Core Responsibilities
- Make outbound cold calls or follow up on inbound company leads
- Explain product features, benefits, and special discounts clearly
- Overcome customer hesitations and handle objections professionally
- Close sales transactions or book confirmed appointments/site visits
- Log customer interactions, data, and call statuses into a CRM tool
- Meet daily, weekly, or monthly sales conversion targets
Key Skills Required
- Strong verbal communication and active listening
- Persuasive negotiation and convincing abilities
- Resilience and a positive attitude toward rejection
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with CRM system
