🔹 Role Overview

Responsible for handling purchase operations including vendor management, price negotiation, material sourcing, follow-ups, and ensuring timely supply of materials required for production in a plastic manufacturing setup.

🔸 Key Responsibilities

• Purchase of Raw Materials (Polymer, Resin, Masterbatch, Additives) & consumables.
• Sourcing and procurement of packaging materials.
• Evaluate and negotiate quotations, prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
• Vendor selection, development, and maintaining supplier relationships.
• Coordination with Store, Production, QA & Accounts departments.
• Prepare Purchase Orders (PO) in ERP/SAP/Tally or similar software.
• Maintain purchase records, documentation, and price comparison sheets.
• Follow up for timely delivery & resolve supplier-related issues.
• Monitor market trends, material availability & cost changes.
• Ensure materials meet quality requirements before final purchase.
• Support cost-saving initiatives and process improvement in procurement.

🔹 Required Skills

• Knowledge of plastic industry raw materials & machine spares.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Understanding of purchase processes, taxation (GST), and vendor management.
• Basic understanding of SAP
• Advance Excel skills (VLOOKUP, basic MIS reports).
• Positive attitude & ability to handle multiple tasks.

⚙️ Preferred Candidate Profile

• Experience in Plastic Injection Molding / Plastic Component Manufacturing.
• Knowledge of suppliers in the plastics industry.
• Immediate joining preferred (If applicable).
• Strong Follow up with Suppliers
