Job Description

  • Key ResponsibilitiesCreate and optimize CNC/VMC programs for machining orthopaedic implants and surgical instruments.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, CAD models, and technical specifications.
  • Select appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, feeds, and machining parameters.
  • Perform program prove-out and first-piece inspection.
  • Coordinate with production, quality, and design teams for process improvements.
  • Ensure dimensional accuracy and high-quality surface finish as per medical industry standards.
  • Reduce cycle time and improve machining efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot machining and programming issues on the shop floor.
  • Maintain documentation for programs, tooling, and process sheets.
