Experience :- 6 month to 2 year experience in a CA firm or Accounting Firm

Qualification :- Graduate from any stream (B.Com / M.Com / BBA (Finance), & Tally / Accounting certification preferred)

Job Summary

Accounts Assistant with one year of experience in a Chartered Accountant firm, responsible for maintaining client accounts, assisting in statutory compliances, GST and Income-tax filings, and supporting audit and assessment work.

Key Responsibilities

1. Accounting & Bookkeeping

• Maintaining books of accounts for multiple clients
• Recording transactions in Tally / accounting software
• Preparation of ledger accounts, trial balance, P&L and balance sheet
• Bank reconciliation statements (BRS)
• Handling cash, bank, purchase and sales entries

2. GST Compliance

• Preparation and filing of GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-2B reconciliation)
• GST reconciliation with books of accounts
• Follow-up with clients for data and documents
• Assisting in replies to GST notices (basic level)

3. Income Tax & TDS

• Assisting in preparation and filing of Income-tax Returns (ITR-1 to ITR-4)
• Computation of taxable income for individuals, firms and small businesses
• TDS calculation, challans and filing of TDS returns
• Generation of Form 16 / 16A

Requirement :-

• Sound knowledge of basic accounting principles
• Working knowledge of Tally, MS Excel
• Basic understanding of GST, Income-tax and TDS provisions
