Account Executive (Accounting)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Executive with strong knowledge of Tally. The candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting tasks, maintaining financial records, and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain books of accounts using Tally (ERP 9 / Tally Prime)
• Record daily financial transactions and update ledgers
• Handle accounts payable and receivable
• Perform bank reconciliations and manage cash flow
• Prepare invoices, purchase orders, and expense reports
• Assist in GST, TDS, and other statutory filings
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes
• Generate financial reports such as P&L, balance sheet, etc.
• Coordinate with auditors and ensure compliance with accounting standards
• Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) or related field
• Strong working knowledge of Tally (mandatory)
• Basic understanding of GST, TDS, and Indian taxation
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting tools
• Good analytical and numerical skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to meet deadlines and work independently 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Tally Prime
• Knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements
• Prior experience in a similar role
