Job Description: Accounts & Customer Coordination Executive — SupplifyCompany: Supplify (B2B MRO E-commerce) Location: Mumbai Reporting to: Founder / Operations Head Experience: 1–4 years

About SupplifySupplify is a B2B MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Operations) e-commerce platform connecting industrial buyers with quality suppliers. We're scaling our order operations and need someone who can own both the numbers and the relationships.

Role SummaryThis is a dual-charter role: you'll manage day-to-day accounts/bookkeeping while also owning customer-facing follow-up — order tracking, payment reminders, and coordination between clients and internal/vendor teams. Ideal for someone detail-oriented with accounts but equally comfortable picking up the phone to chase a payment or resolve a delivery query.

Key ResponsibilitiesAccounts & Finance

  • Maintain day-to-day bookkeeping (sales, purchase, expense entries) in Tally/Zoho Books or equivalent
  • Generate and track invoices, GST compliance basics, and payment reconciliation
  • Prepare monthly receivables/payables reports
  • Coordinate with CA/auditor for periodic filings

Customer Follow-up & Coordination

  • Track open orders end-to-end — from confirmation to delivery
  • Proactively follow up with customers on payment status and pending dues
  • Liaise between customers, vendors, and logistics to resolve delays or discrepancies
  • Maintain a clean CRM/tracker of customer interactions and order status
  • Escalate unresolved issues with context, not just flags
  • Must-Have SkillsWorking knowledge of basic accounting (entries, GST, reconciliation) — Tally/Zoho/Excel proficiency
  • Strong follow-up discipline — comfortable with calls, WhatsApp, email cadence
  • Organized, doesn't let things fall through cracks
  • Clear, professional communication (Hindi + English; Marathi a plus)
  • Good-to-HavePrior B2B/trading/distribution experience
  • Familiarity with e-commerce order management tools
  • Basic Excel reporting (pivot tables, simple dashboards)
  • What We're NOT Looking ForPure back-office accountants with no client-facing comfort
  • Pure sales/relationship people with weak number sense
