Matrika Design Collaborative is a Mumbai-based design practice working at the intersection of architecture, research, and experience design. Our projects move across scales and typologiesfrom intimate homes to museums and cultural spaces—each shaped by a deep engagement with context and purpose.

We see design as a process of uncovering—of reading the layers of a place, understanding its histories, and translating them into spatial experiences. Our work is grounded in research, not as a parallel exercise, but as a generative force that informs every decision—from the first sketch to the final detail.

Collaboration lies at the heart of our practice. We work closely with curators, historians, engineers, lighting designers, and technology specialists to build projects that are both conceptually rich and technically resolved.
