Job Description

A B2B Software Sales representative (SDR/BDR/AE) drives revenue by selling software solutions directly to business clients. Responsibilities include identifying prospects, conducting demos, negotiating contracts, and managing the sales pipeline to meet targets. Key requirements include 3+ years of experience in SaaS, strong communication skills, and proficiency in CRM tools.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Generation & Outreach: Conduct cold calls, emails, and LinkedIn outreach to generate new business opportunities.
  • Product Demonstration: Present and demonstrate software products/solutions to potential clients, highlighting ROI and business value.
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including CXOs and decision-makers.
  • Closing Deals: Negotiate contract terms, pricing, and close sales to meet or exceed monthly/quarterly targets.
  • Pipeline Management: Maintain accurate records of client interactions, pipeline stages, and forecasting in CRM software.
  • Client Onboarding: Collaborate with customer success teams to ensure a smooth transition from sale to implementation. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7]

Required Skills & Qualifications


  • Experience: 3–7 years of proven experience in B2B software, SaaS, or IT sales.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Technical Aptitude: Understanding of software solutions, technology, and ability to learn new tools quickly.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Tools: Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and LinkedIn Sales Navigato
