We are looking for a detail-oriented Billing Engineer to manage project billing, quantity verification, and commercial documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit Client RA Bills (Running Account Bills), Interim Bills, and Final Bills as per contract terms.
• Verify work executed at site against approved BOQs, drawings, and work orders.
• Prepare measurement sheets and quantity calculations for executed work.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, and Clients for bill certification and approvals.
• Track project progress and ensure timely billing as per project milestones.
• Maintain BOQ revisions, variation orders (VOs), extra items, and quantity reconciliations.
• Review subcontractor and vendor bills and verify quantities before processing.
• Coordinate with the Accounts team for invoice generation and payment follow-ups.
• Maintain billing records, work completion certificates, measurement books, and supporting documentation.
• Monitor project costs and assist in cost control and profitability analysis.
• Ensure compliance with contractual terms, payment schedules, and company procedures.
• Prepare billing MIS reports, payment trackers, and outstanding receivable reports.
• Support tender and estimation teams by providing billing-related project data when required.

Qualifications

• Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field.
• Experience: 2–5 years in project billing, quantity surveying, or commercial billing (Interior Fit-Out, Construction, Ceiling, Lighting, MEP, or Interior Contracting industry preferred).

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of BOQ preparation and quantity verification.
• Experience in RA Billing, Final Billing, and Client Billing.
• Good understanding of contracts, work orders, and variation claims.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Advanced), AutoCAD, and ERP systems.
• Ability to read technical drawings and project specifications.
• Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
• Strong coordination and time management abilities.

Preferred Experience

Candidates with experience in stretch ceilings, interior fit-outs, lighting solutions, retail, hospitality, commercial interiors, or turnkey projects will be preferred.

• Timely submission of RA and Final Bills.
