Butcher/Kasai

Job summary:

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Butcher to handle the cutting, cleaning, processing, and preparation of fish, seafood, chicken, and meat as per customer and store requirements. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining hygiene standards, minimizing wastage, and ensuring quality service while following company SOPs and food safety guidelines.

Key responsibility:

• Carry out butchery and processing of fish, seafood, chicken, and meat as per customer and store requirements.
• Prepare and provide different cuts of fish, seafood, chicken, and mutton as required.
• Manage daily stock handling, including receiving, storage, and display of products.
• Maintain hygiene, cleanliness, and sanitization of the butchery area, tools, and equipment.
• Ensure minimal wastage during cutting, processing, and storage.
• Follow company SOPs, food safety standards, and hygiene guidelines at all times.
• Assist customers by explaining product types, cuts, portion sizes, and preparation suggestions.
• Record and report stock movement, inventory levels, and wastage to the supervisor.
• Ensure proper storage temperature and product freshness standards are maintained.
• Support store operations and perform additional duties assigned by management.
