Civil Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Civil Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in road and bridge construction projects. The candidate will be responsible for planning, design coordination, execution supervision, quality control, and ensuring timely completion of infrastructure projects in compliance with technical specifications and safety standards.

• Key ResponsibilitiesPlan, design review, and supervise construction of roadways, highways, and bridge structures.
• Prepare and review project drawings, BOQs, cost estimates, and technical specifications.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and government authorities.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and local regulations.
• Conduct site inspections and monitor construction progress.
• Manage quality control testing for materials (concrete, asphalt, soil, steel, etc.).
• Oversee structural works including foundations, substructure, superstructure, and pavement layers.
• Prepare project schedules and monitor milestones.
• Identify and resolve technical issues at site.
• Prepare progress reports and documentation.
• Ensure proper implementation of traffic management and environmental safety measures.
• Required QualificationsBachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (B.E./B.Tech Civil).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in road and bridge projects.
• Strong knowledge of highway design standards and bridge construction practices.
• Experience in handling large-scale infrastructure projects preferred.
• Familiarity with IRC, AASHTO, or relevant local standards.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project, Primavera, and MS Office.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Preferred SkillsExperience in government or EPC projects.
• Knowledge of QA/QC procedures.
• Familiarity with contract management (FIDIC preferred).
