Job Description
Job Title: Customer Support Telecaller – Insurance SalesJob Overview:We are looking for a dynamic and customer-focused Telecaller who has prior experience in selling insurance policies and handling customer interactions over calls. The ideal candidate should possess strong communication skills in English, a persuasive approach, and the ability to understand customer needs to recommend suitable insurance products.
- Key Responsibilities:Make outbound calls to potential and existing customers to promote and sell insurance policies
- Handle inbound customer queries related to insurance products, services, and policy details
- Understand customer requirements and recommend appropriate insurance plans
- Explain product features, benefits, pricing, and terms clearly and confidently
- Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and follow-ups in CRM systems
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships to ensure repeat business
- Handle objections and resolve customer concerns effectively
- Stay updated on product knowledge, industry trends, and regulatory guidelines
- Coordinate with internal teams for smooth policy processing and customer support
- Required Skills & Qualifications:Proven experience in telecalling, preferably in insurance sales or BFSI sector
- Excellent communication skills in English (spoken and comprehension)
- Strong persuasion, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a target-driven environment
- Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with CRM tools
- Customer-centric attitude with problem-solving abilities
- Preferred Qualifications:Experience in selling life, health, or general insurance products
- Prior experience in call centers or tele-sales roles
- Knowledge of insurance regulations and compliance
