Data Entry Operator

Key Responsibilities:

1. Data Entry & Document Formatting: Convert raw educational content (such as scanned papers, handwritten notes, or drafts) into well-organized, professionally formatted digital documents using our online platform.
2. Scientific Notations & Math Typesetting: Utilize Math Type, LaTeX, or other similar tools to accurately format and input complex mathematical equations and scientific notations into the content.
3. Typesetting & Design: Apply advanced typesetting and layout skills to ensure the document is clear, readable, and visually appealing. This includes formatting headings, subheadings, paragraphs, lists, tables, and graphs in accordance with established style guides.
4. Document Creation: Collaborate with the content team to create polished educational materials from raw drafts. Ensure that documents meet quality standards and are consistent in formatting, structure, and style.
5. File Management & Quality Assurance: Review documents for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with formatting requirements. Ensure that final output is in the correct file format (e.g., PDF, Word, HTML) and ready for upload or printing.
6. Collaboration: Work closely with instructional designers, subject matter experts, and editors to ensure all content is accurately represented and meets the highest academic standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

1. Scientific Background: A strong foundation in science, mathematics, or a related field. A degree or equivalent experience in a scientific discipline is preferred.
2. Proficiency in Math Type and LaTeX: Hands-on experience with Math Type or other scientific notation tools to create accurate and professional mathematical expressions.
3. Design & Layout Expertise: Advanced skills in desktop publishing software (e.g., Adobe InDesign, Microsoft Word, LaTeX, or similar tools) for typesetting and creating well-designed educational documents.
