JOB DESCRIPTION – Education Counsellor

Institution: PIERSI

Location: Kurla (East), Mumbai

Job Type: Full-Time (Office-Based)

Working Days: 6 Days a Week

Shift / Timings:

10:00 AM – 7:00 PM or

11:00 AM – 8:00 PM

Experience Required: 1 – 5 Years

Salary Range: ₹15,000 - ₹25,000 per month

Key Responsibilities

Handle inbound and outbound calls related to academic inquiries

Counsel students on UG, PG, MBA, Medical (MBBS, BHMS, BAMS, BUMS, etc.), and PhD programs

Explain eligibility criteria, admission process, fee structure, and required documentation

Assist students throughout the admission and onboarding process

Maintain accurate student records and ensure timely follow-ups

Coordinate with internal teams for verification and admission support

Provide ethical, transparent, and accurate academic guidance

Required Skills & Qualifications

Excellent English communication skills (Mandatory)

Strong counselling and interpersonal skills

Student-friendly, empathetic, and professional approach

Basic computer knowledge (MS Office, Email, CRM systems)

Understanding of online and distance education systems
