House Manager – Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized, trustworthy, and proactive House Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our household. The role requires end-to-end management of staff, vendors, assets, and household systems to ensure smooth, discreet, and efficient functioning of the home.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage, supervise, hire, train, and discipline all household staff (housekeeping, cooks, drivers, gardeners, etc.)
• Plan and coordinate daily housekeeping, maintenance, and service schedules
• Handle vendors and service providers; negotiate, monitor quality, and ensure timely execution
• Maintain inventory of household supplies, groceries, and consumables; manage purchasing and restocking
• Oversee property upkeep, assets, appliances, Annual Maintenance Contract, and repair schedules
• Manage household expenses, bill payments, budgeting, and monthly expense reporting
• Organize guest visits, events, and special occasions when required
• Liaise with family members regarding schedules, preferences, and special requirements
• Ensure security, privacy, confidentiality, and safety standards across the property
• Create and maintain basic household Standard procedure and contingency plans
• Handle emergencies, staff absences, and unexpected issues proactively
• Manage laundry, wardrobe coordination, and vehicle maintenance (including driver schedules)

Requirements

• 5–6 years of proven experience as a House Manager or in a similar role
• Strong leadership, organizational, and multitasking skills
• High level of discretion, integrity, and professionalism
• Basic budgeting and expense-tracking knowledge
• Tech-savvy; familiarity with smart home systems is a plus

Preferred Qualifications

• Hospitality or home management qualification
• Experience in a high-net-worth or formal household
• Valid driver’s license (if required)

Salary: Up to 60,000 per month

Working Days/Hours: Monday to Saturday, 10 AM – 8 PM
