Job Summary
The HR Executive/Manager is responsible for managing the complete employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, performance management, payroll coordination, compliance, training, and HR administration. The role ensures that HR policies and practices support business objectives while maintaining compliance with labor laws and industry regulations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Talent Acquisition & Recruitment
- Manage end-to-end recruitment for various functions including Sales, Operations, Finance, Risk, Compliance, and Support.
- Coordinate with hiring managers to understand manpower requirements.
- Source candidates through job portals, referrals, recruitment agencies, and social media platforms.
- Conduct initial screening, interviews, and salary negotiations.
- Ensure timely closure of open positions.
2. Employee Onboarding & Offboarding
- Manage employee joining formalities and documentation.
- Conduct induction and orientation programs.
- Coordinate background verification processes.
- Handle exit formalities, full-and-final settlements, and exit interviews.
3. Performance Management
- Assist in implementing performance appraisal systems.
- Track employee goals, KPIs, and appraisal cycles.
- Support managers in conducting performance reviews.
- Maintain employee performance records.
4. Payroll & Compensation
- Coordinate monthly payroll inputs such as attendance, leave records, incentives, and reimbursements.
- Ensure timely salary processing.
- Manage employee benefits, insurance, and statutory deductions.
- Support compensation benchmarking and salary reviews.
5. Employee Relations & Engagement
- Address employee grievances and workplace concerns.
- Organize employee engagement activities and recognition programs.
- Foster a positive work culture and employee satisfaction.
- Support retention initiatives.
6. HR Operations & Administration
- Maintain employee records and HRMIS data.
- Prepare HR reports, dashboards, and MIS.
- Draft and update HR policies, SOPs, and employee handbooks.
- Monitor attendance and leave management systems.
7. Compliance & Statutory Requirements
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.
- Coordinate PF, ESIC, Professional Tax, Gratuity, and other statutory requirements.
- Maintain statutory records and documentation.
- Support internal and external audits.
8. Learning & Development
- Identify training needs across departments.
- Coordinate employee training and development programs.
- Track training effectiveness and employee skill enhancement.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Commerce, or related field.
- MBA/PGDM in Human Resources preferred.
- Certifications in HR, labor laws, or payroll management are an advantage.
Experience
- HR Executive: 2–5 years of experience in HR functions.
- HR Manager: 5–10 years of experience, preferably in the finance, insurance, NBFC, lending, or financial services sector.
