Job Description
Experience: 3–6 years, recruitment + generalist HR, SME/trading/manufacturing background preferred
Own end-to-end recruitment and day-to-day HR/compliance for SMCI, so Directors are only involved at final interview/decision stage and for policy exceptions — not sourcing, screening, or routine HR admin.
Own hiring lifecycle: job posting (Naukri, LinkedIn), consultant/agency coordination, screening, scheduling, offer, onboarding
Maintain a live tracker across all open roles (currently: Senior Accountant, Import Documentation Executive, Sales Coordinator, plus recurring warehouse/ops hiring)
Run first-level screening against existing JDs and scorecards
Manage consultant relationships and negotiate placement fees; also directly source via Naukri/LinkedIn for roles where a consultant isn't cost-effective
Reference checks and background verification before offer
Draft offer letters and onboarding documentation
Build/maintain a JD + scorecard library for recurring roles
Attendance and leave tracking across office and warehouse staff (Andheri, Morbi, Bhiwandi)
Coordinate monthly payroll inputs with the Senior Accountant (once hired) — attendance, leave deductions, new joiner/exit data
Maintain employee files: offer letters, ID proofs, PF/ESIC enrollment where applicable
Track probation reviews and confirmation dates for new hires (first 90 days)
Basic statutory compliance calendar (PF, ESIC, PT, Shops & Establishment renewal reminders) — flagging to Directors/CA, not filing independently
3–6 years combined recruitment + HR generalist experience
Working knowledge of Naukri/LinkedIn Recruiter, Excel/Sheets
Basic understanding of PF/ESIC/PT compliance requirements for Maharashtra (execution can sit with your CA/accountant — this role tracks and flags)
Strong follow-through discipline
Based in or able to commute to Andheri East
