Junior Interior Designer

Key Responsibilities

• Design & PlanningAssist in preparing space planning, furniture layouts, and interior concepts.
• Develop 2D drawings, working drawings, and detailed construction drawings using AutoCAD.
• Assist in preparing mood boards, material boards, and client presentations.
• Support the selection of finishes, materials, furniture, lighting, and décor elements.
• Prepare BOQs (Bill of Quantities) and material specifications.
• Project CoordinationCoordinate with architects, project managers, MEP consultants, and execution teams.
• Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and suppliers for material selection and procurement.
• Attend client meetings and prepare meeting minutes when required.
• Site ExecutionConduct site visits for measurements, inspections, and progress reviews.
• Ensure execution aligns with approved drawings and design intent.
• Assist in resolving on-site design and coordination issues.
• Monitor quality standards and project timelines.
• DocumentationMaintain project drawings, revisions, and design documentation.
• Prepare presentations and reports as required.
• Organize project files and maintain proper records.
• Research & DevelopmentResearch new materials, products, and interior design trends.
• Learn and implement healthcare design standards and best practices.
• Continuously enhance software and technical skills.
• Required SkillsGood understanding of interior design principles and space planning.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (Mandatory).
• Working knowledge of SketchUp, Revit, 3ds Max, Lumion, or similar software is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of materials, finishes, furniture, lighting, and detailing.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Willingness to travel to project sites when required.

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or a related field.
• Experience2-3 years of experience in Interior Design.
