Junior Investigator

The Junior Investigator supports the delivery of high-quality due diligence and investigative reports by conducting desktop research, analyzing information from public and proprietary sources, and preparing well-structured reports. The role involves identifying reputational, regulatory, litigation, financial, and integrity risks associated with companies and individuals while maintaining the highest standards of accuracy, confidentiality, and professional ethics.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct desktop due diligence research on companies, individuals, and organizations using public records, commercial databases, media sources, regulatory filings, court records, and other reliable sources.
• Perform background investigations to identify reputational, legal, regulatory, financial, sanctions, and adverse media risks.
• Analyze and validate information obtained from multiple sources to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Prepare clear, concise, and well-documented due diligence reports in accordance with internal quality standards.
• Summarize complex findings into actionable risk assessments and executive summaries.
• Identify inconsistencies, potential red flags, and areas requiring further investigation.
• Maintain detailed research documentation and source references to support findings.
• Collaborate with senior investigators and analysts to resolve research gaps and improve report quality.
• Meet productivity, turnaround time, and quality expectations for assigned cases.
