Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Sales & Marketing Executive with experience in steel alloys, pipes, pipe fittings, and flanges, along with strong exposure to export markets. The candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, handling techno-commercial inquiries, and developing long-term relationships with domestic and international clients across industries such as Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, EPC, and Power.
- Key Responsibilities:Generate and manage B2B leads for pipes, fittings, flanges, and alloy steel products
- Handle RFQs, tenders, and techno-commercial quotations as per client specifications
- Interpret ASTM / ASME / DIN / EN standards, drawings, and MTC requirements
- Develop new business opportunities in domestic and international markets
- Manage export sales cycle including pricing, negotiation, order finalization, and documentation
- Coordinate with mills, stockists, and suppliers for sourcing and timely delivery
- Handle export documentation (Invoice, Packing List, COO, BL, LC, etc.) and logistics coordination
- Follow up on orders, dispatch, payments, and client queries
- Build and maintain strong relationships with EPC contractors, OEMs, and traders
- Ensure compliance with quality standards, inspection requirements (TPIA, IBR, NDT, PMI)
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and pricing strategies
- Achieve sales targets, margins, and business growth objectives
- Required Skills & Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Commerce, or related field
- 2–6 years of experience in steel / piping / industrial product sales
- Strong knowledge of pipes, fittings, flanges, and alloy materials
- Familiarity with international trade practices & INCOTERMS
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and client-handling skills
- Proficiency in MS Excel, CRM tools, and quotation preparation
- Ability to work in a target-driven and fast-paced environment
- Preferred Profile:Experience in export markets (Middle East, Europe, Southeast Asia)
- Existing network with industrial buyers / EPC companies
- Strong understanding of technical specifications and costing
- Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):Revenue generation & order conversion ratio
- Gross margin achievement
