Packaging Executive

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Purchase Executive to handle procurement of packaging materials with a focus on cost efficiency, quality assurance, and timely delivery. The role involves vendor management, negotiation, coordination with internal teams, and maintaining accurate purchase data to support smooth operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the purchase of packaging materials while ensuring quality, timeliness, and cost savings.
• Obtain and evaluate vendor quotations for recurring orders and inquiries.
• Negotiate with vendors, compare current rates with historical data, and confirm vendor capacity before placing orders.
• Prepare purchase orders with attachments and submit them for senior management approval.
• Coordinate sample approvals with vendors, artists, packaging coordinators, and dispatch teams.
• Work closely with printers on master placements and art
• Collaborate with accounts, operations, and regional teams to address packaging material inquiries.
• Maintain accurate data records, monitor stock levels of standard packaging materials, and initiate purchases when required.
• Update rate lists and ensure order closures on the company portal.
