Job SummaryWe are looking for a skilled RO Technician responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of domestic and commercial Reverse Osmosis (RO) water purification systems. The ideal candidate will ensure clean water access for our clients by providing prompt, high-quality technical support and maintaining excellent customer relations.

• Key ResponsibilitiesInstallation & Setup: Perform professional installation and commissioning of RO systems at residential and commercial sites.
• Diagnostics & Repair: Troubleshoot and fix issues related to water leakage, low pressure, unusual noise, or poor water taste.
• Component Replacement: Replace filters (sediment, carbon, membrane), pumps, SV (Solenoid Valves), and SMPS power supplies as needed.
• Water Quality Testing: Conduct TDS (Total Dissolved Solids) testing and pH level checks to ensure water quality meets safety standards.
• Preventive Maintenance: Perform routine AMC (Annual Maintenance Contract) visits to clean systems and proactively replace aging parts.
• Customer Service: Explain the functioning of the RO unit to customers and provide tips for basic maintenance.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of service visits, parts used, and payments collected via job sheets or mobile apps.
• Required Skills & QualificationsEducation: ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Environmental Engineering (or equivalent vocational training).
• Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of water flow, filtration stages, and electrical circuits within a purifier.
• Tool Proficiency: Expertise in using pressure gauges, TDS meters, tube cutters, and basic hand tools.
• Problem Solving: Ability to quickly identify "difficult-to-find" leaks or blockages in the system.
• Communication: Fluency in Hindi/Marathi (for Mumbai locations) to interact effectively with local customers.
• Experience & RequirementsExperience: 1–3 years of experience in the water purification industry.
• Field Mobility: Must possess a valid two-wheeler license and a vehicle for daily field visits across Mumbai.
• Physical Fitness: Ability to carry toolkits and spare parts; comfortable working in various kitchen or utility room layouts.
• Preferred SkillsExperience working with major brands (e.g., Kent, Aquaguard, Pureit, or Livpure).
• Ability to upsell AMC plans or replacement parts to customers.
