Job Description
1. Role Overview
The Sales & Marketing Executive is responsible for driving revenue through consultative and value-based selling of fashion components like crystals, pearls and fine gemstones like lab-grown diamonds, moissanite, cubic zirconia, and synthetic gemstones across B2B and B2C channels.
This role requires the ability to:
- Translate technical gemstone knowledge into customer value
- Build aspiration and trust
- Drive high-conversion sales interactions (offline + online)
2. Key Responsibilities
2.1-A Sales Generation & Conversion (Primary)
- Identify and qualify new B2B leads: jewelry manufacturers, designers, exporters, and dealers.
- Conduct outreach via phone, email, WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn.
- Manage CRM entries, follow-ups, pipeline tracking (Tools: Hubspot/NeoDove/Excel/WhatsApp).
- Prepare customized quotations, pricing decks, brochures and product information.
- Close deals, manage orders efficiently and coordinate with production/warehouse/operations/logistics teams for delivery.
- Ensure timely payment collection, increase and maintain positive cash flow.
- Drive daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets
- Convert inquiries, walk-in, referred, and digital leads into customers through healthy pipeline
- Maximize Average Order Value (AOV) through upselling, cross-selling and bundling
2.1-B Marketing & BD Activities (Con-current)
- Collaborate with branding & marketing department for online campaigns, reels, and digital outreach.
- Coordinate content input for LinkedIn, Instagram, and website with design team.
- Conduct market research: competitors, pricing benchmarks, industry, customer trends.
- Provide insights on customer preferences to help shape product offerings.
- Work with the team and management to develop targeted promotional campaigns.
- Execute monthly WhatsApp/email newsletters for client engagement.
- Update catalog and brochures in timely manner to sync with all the business function and departments
- Collect and analyze meetings / campaign feedback to improve lead quality and ROI.
- Co-create and implement marketing & business development plans to increase brand awareness and market share in online and offline segment.
- Manage digital marketing campaigns with engaging content across social media, email marketing, and online advertising. (Primarily on Google, Instagram, FB, Linkedin, YouTube, Pinterest, Whatsapp)
- Identify market opportunities to ensure business growth and engage potential B2B clients, including jewelry manufacturers, designers, and retailers.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to expand the customer base.
- Present and promote Ourosa’s product range to prospective buyers, emphasizing quality, sustainability, and innovation.
- Negotiate and close deals while ensuring long-term client partnerships.
- Attend trade shows, jewelry & gemstone expos, exhibitions, and industry events to network and generate leads.
- Maintain strong relationships with all the clients and provide excellent post-sales support.

5. Qualification & Experience
- 2-5 years experience in: Jewelry / luxury retail / premium sales
- Graduate / Post Graduate (preferred)
- Strong written + verbal communication: English + Hindi (mandatory) + Regional language
6. Compensation Structure
- Fixed salary + high-performance incentives
- Incentive linked to: Revenue + AOV + Conversion
7. Reporting Structure
- Reports to: Business Owner
- Works closely with: Inventory, Production, Warehouse, Operations, Marketing department
8. Requirements

- 2+ years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in the jewelry, fashion, or materials industry.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills in English, Hindi, and preferably a regional language.
- Strong presentation and client engagement skills.
- Self-motivated with a result-oriented mindset.
- Willingness to travel, especially to tier-2 and tier-3 cities.
- Basic understanding of gemstones or willingness to learn about lab-grown and synthetic gems.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Gem, Jewelry or a related field (BBA/BMS).
