Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Accountant for on-site deployment at a real estate redevelopment project. The role involves end-to-end handling of project accounting, compliance support, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain project-wise books of accounts and ensure accurate recording of transactions
- Handle Work-in-Progress (WIP) tracking and cost allocation
- Preparation and review of monthly MIS, cash flow statements, and cost vs budget analysis
- Oversee GST compliance, including data preparation, reconciliation, and coordination for return filing
- Support RERA reporting, including project cost tracking and certification data
- Ensure proper documentation, voucher control, and audit trail
- Liaise with consultants for income tax, audit, and regulatory compliance
- Supervise junior accountant and ensure maker–checker controls
