Senior Medical Writer

Skills & Competencies:

• Good Knowledge and understanding of medical disorders/terminology and pharmacology of various therapy areas.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Efficient in Microsoft Office skills including Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook  
• Expertise in literature search.
• Ability to mentor junior writers
• Compliant with applicable regulations/plagiarism

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Extensive literature search for authentic/robust content from established sources based on brief received from the client/business team.
• Development of evidence-based content that is interesting/crisp/ in infographic manner with creativity.
• Adherence to timelines for content development as per the briefing
• To carry out corrections based on the feedback in time bound manner .
• To check the designed file for accuracy of the layout
• Co-ordination with other team members as required.
• To do the complete review of the contents and designed file, including cross-referencing when required.
• Attention to minute details.

Experience & Qualification:

• B. Pharm, M. Pharm., Any medical graduate, Or postgraduate from science stream
• Min. 4-5 years of medical writing experience in Healthcare/Pharma/Medcom /medical publication industry involved in development of all types of scientific promotional inputs, CME presentations, medical book writing.
