Job Description

Degreewala Educare LLP is looking for an experienced and motivated Senior Counsellor to join our dynamic admissions and counseling team.

In this role, you will guide students through their educational and career choices, manage the counseling process end-to-end, and contribute to achieving enrollment targets.

This position is ideal for individuals with strong communication skills, a passion for student engagement, and proven experience in EdTech or academic counseling.

Key Responsibilities

Student Counseling: Provide one-on-one guidance to prospective students about Degreewala’s programs, courses, fees, eligibility, and career outcomes.

Lead Management: Handle incoming inquiries, follow up with leads, and ensure timely conversions through effective communication.

Admissions Process: Assist students through the admission cycle — from application to enrollment — ensuring a smooth experience.

Target Achievement: Work toward individual and team enrollment goals by converting leads into successful admissions.

Presentations & Counselling Sessions: Conduct telephonic, online, and in-person counseling sessions to explain course benefits and career opportunities.

Team Collaboration: Coordinate with marketing, operations, and academic teams to align strategies and achieve admissions objectives.

Career Guidance: Offer students career advice and insights into higher education pathways and upskilling opportunities.

Data Management: Maintain accurate records of leads, counseling sessions, and conversions using CRM or similar tools.

Market Awareness: Stay updated on educational trends and competitive programs to offer informed recommendations to students.

Preferred Candidate Profile

Experience: Minimum 3 years in academic counseling, EdTech sales, or education industry.

Communication: Excellent spoken and written English with confident presentation skills.

Interpersonal Skills: Strong relationship-building and customer service skills.

Sales Orientation: Proven ability to convert leads and achieve admissions targets.

Tech Skills: Proficiency in MS Office, CRM tools, and digital communication platforms.

Personality: Self-motivated, organized, and enthusiastic with a student-first approach.
