Accountant

Job Description – AccountantPosition OverviewWe are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accountant who can independently manage the billing and invoicing process, GST compliance, coordinate with internal teams, maintain financial records, and support smooth operational workflows. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience with Tally and a strong understanding of basic accounting principles.

• Key ResponsibilitiesManage end-to-end billing and invoicing processes, including invoice preparation, verification, and timely submission.
• Maintain accurate records of accounts receivable & payable.
• Track payments, reconcile customer statements, and follow up for outstanding dues.
• Handle GST billing, input/output reconciliation, and assist in GST return preparation and filing.
• Coordinate with operations, sales, and internal teams to ensure accurate data flow and process alignment.
• Handle daily accounting entries, journal posting, and ledger maintenance in Tally.
• Assist with monthly closing, cash flow tracking, and financial reporting.
• Maintain documentation and support internal audits, taxation queries, and compliance requirements.
• Manage internal process updates and help build efficient workflows.
• Prepare MIS reports as required.
• RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Commerce / Accounting / Finance or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in accounting and billing roles.
• Proficiency in Tally ERP and MS Excel is mandatory.
• Strong understanding of basic accounting concepts, GST, and taxation.
• Ability to work independently and multitask effectively.
• Strong communication, coordination & problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
• Preferred AttributesExperience in handling end-to-end billing independently.
• Exposure to operational coordination or service-based industry will be an advantage.
